I just came across this thing called FlexPetz that is an interesting mix between dogs and netflix. I’ve always wanted to get a dog, but I’d feel bad being away from home 60hrs/week with the dog all alone (and possibly chewing through my xbox). FlexPetz is basically a dog rental service with locations currently in LA and San Diego. You sign up (and pay a shitload of fees for classes, equipment, etc on top of a monthly and rental fee) and you can take a dog out for a few hours, a day, the weekend, etc. I’ve never owned a dog, so I’m not sure how much dog ownership really costs, but this shit sounds expensive even though it seems like a really good idea. I guess if you really want to get a dog, but can’t take care of it full time you should check it out - check out all the fees first though..
